I liked how if you looked at Twitter at any time during the last week of the Canadian election, you could have followed the entire sordid saga about Howie Mandel being arrested and the efforts to being undertaken by The Fans to "demand justice" (all of these linked to right wing slop sites)

Most of these Good Old Days/RETVRN types (depending on your age range) also have a skewed view of the past that's wholly based on media products like sitcoms and ads
It's a golden age that never existed outside of a poorly scanned magazine liquor ad that's been posted to Reddit!
