This dumb pie metaphor is more propaganda.
For it to be apples to apples everyone would have to have equal access.
But everything is already owned therefore resources and opportunities are constrained by those that own them.

If the selling point of efficient markets is that they improve fairness via redistribution then clearly the goal is fairness.

I'm not going to complain that people have a consequence-free, cheap means of expressing what's inside them.
I doubt ChatGPT is the source of people's depression, frustration or suicidal feelings.
Still, the AI Chat industry needs to recognize their responsibility to steer people toward help.

We will be stuck with a lesser of two evils, two party political system until we (starting at local levels) adopt alternative voting such as:
1 STAR Voting (0-5 stars)
2 Ranked Choice Voting (weighted by order of preference)
3 Approval Voting (vote for anyone "good enough")
No fear of wasted votes
