WHEN are the masses going to rise up and stop the madness?! Is there a single leader behind whom the country can rally? Is there anyone who can tell us that it is go time? I think we are ready to go for it.

Going to 2000 taxes (income, cap gns, estate & corp) would increase revenue by hundreds $billions/yr & over $4 trillion over a decade.
Look at US revenue/budget after GOP-led tax cuts in 2001, 03, 11 (estate) & '17 & deficit reductions in Dem administrations.

Much of the GDP growth is due to vastly declining imports- as we would expect from the crazy tariffs. If nothing else changes, a decline in imports causes an increase in GDP. Thus- actual economic growth is nowhere near 4%. See GNP below. Of course GOP & conservative finance media won't mention that

Once the single party gains control, weakens democratic institutions, eliminates checks & balances, & fully controls the media, power structure & elections to the point any opposition party can never win elections again- the people CAN'T get them out through elections. THIS IS THE TRUMP & GOP GOAL

While the next Marie Antoinetteesque "let them eat cake-like" frivolous spending exercise for Trump's ego on his arch is said to resemble the Arc de Triomphe, I suggest it more closely resembles Speer's proposed (ahem) GERMAN arch. Even the birds are terrifyingly familiar.

Oh- corrupt governments have been falling like dominos all summer, starting with Nepal. Gen Z has had enough! And the militaries are starting to join the people. I think that is why the administration is freaking out so much about this protest.

100%! We are on the 4th generation since Americans have faced hardship as a country. A consumer boycott in which we stock up beforehand doesn't do any good, or 1-day peaceful protests on weekends. It won't help until we bother to be inconvenienced/uncomfortable at the very least. We must sacrifice.
