#164 Nobody 2

I mean, yeah, "we have John Wick at home" is still fine.

#163 Frankenstein

I was a little underwhelmed by this. But it is still Guillermo del Toro doing Frankenstein and it is still quite good by those metrics.

Post something random or you'll have an awful December.

#162 Batman and Harley Quinn

This had a few chuckles in it, but it otherwise kind of sucks. It's really trying to feel like an R-rated episode of TAS but it isn't very funny with a story that feels more stupid than absurd. Let's not even talk about the clear fetish fuel.

#161 A Man on the Inside (season 2)

This was...okay. I found it a little weaker than season 1 and there admittedly isn't a lot of meat to it. But Ted Danson is undeniably a lot of fun and seeing him work off his real life wife does have some entertainment value.

#160 Rain Man

Well this was a just pleasant watch overall. Equal parts funny and emotional, every part Planes Trains and Automobiles as it is Forrest Gump. A good time.

#159 The Bad Guys 2

I was a bit lukewarm on the first one, enjoyed this a little more. I still wouldn't call it one of DreamWork's best, but it has a super fun animation style and some charming enough characters. Even if it did lose me a bit in the final act.

#158 The Truman Show

I really, REALLY liked this one. A fascinating premise with great acting and set design.

#157 Mars Red

I didn't even finish this to be honest. Watched about six episodes and just found it kind of boring. It's animated and acted fine, but it just isn't super engaging imo.

#156 Young Justice

I definitely think the first season is the best. Not that the latter seasons are bad, but they definitely suffer from way too many characters and being unfocused. I still enjoyed my time with it and I guess we'll see if it ever finishes.

#155 Superman/Batman Public Enemies

Not bad. A little too short to really go anywhere, but it's a decent animated DC adventure. You'll never get me to hate Kevin Conroy and Tim Daly bouncing off each other.

#154 Alien Resurrection

Oof. Yeah, this is definitely the bad one. Everything about this movie's "attitude" (for lack of a better word) just annoys me. The tone, the acting, the writing, all reeks of a radical 90s energy that just doesn't fit the franchise. Only points go to the effects.

#153 Doom: The Dark Ages

Yeeeaaahh this was super rad. Doom is like the only FPS I even play and I always enjoy my romp of demon killing action. The shield buzzsaw you get is so much fun to use and turns every fight into a graceful, bloody dance.

#152 The Right Stuff

This isn't really my cup of tea, a little too long and too much of a slow burn. But I can't fault the production design and I did the net core message to be inspiring, so there you go.

#151 The Life of Chuck

This is kind of hurt by the structure of its own story, but I'm not going to lie, I still find this genuinely kind of beautiful and life-affirming.

I am wonderful, I deserve to be wonderful, and I contain multitudes.

#150 Star Wars: Visions (volume 3)

This project is made for me specifically and though I was a little underwhelmed by the sequel episodes, I still liked it a lot. Some of the most fun, visually creative things to ever come out of Star Wars.

I want more, please and thank you.

#149 Weapons

This doesn't quite live up to the hype of the marketing, but the premise is still so fascinating and creepy, and seeing how everything plays out is enjoyable. Cregger is on a hot streak. Really hope that Resident Evil film doesn't kill his career.

#148 Silent Hill 2

This was wonderful to finally experience. Very scary, tense, and emotional. I wish I had the chance to play the OG, but I am more than happy to go back to this some other Halloween season. In my restless dreams, I'll see that town.

#147 Five Nights at Freddy's

As a casual observer of this franchise, this reminds me why I don't like this franchise. There is a solid core of a neat idea and the effects are genuinely charming, but it's buried under a lot of convoluted BS. Very tonally confused too.
October 25, 2025 at 7:34 PM
As someone who likes it, the fact they were calling it "the Citizen Kane of gaming" even back then was like....really?

#146 Gen V (season 2)

Sure, this was fine I guess. Although I think my patience for this franchise is really wearing thin living in the nightmare hellscape that is 2025 America. Looking forward for it to be over next year (no, I'm not watching Vought Rising, I refuse).

It's like the first M3GAN except it really sucks.

#144 One Punch Man (season 3)

Yeah, sorry, I can't watch any more of this. It is genuinely depressing how sauceless this show has become. More like One Punch Slideshow.

How do you peak with season 1?
