Raksura would test the limits of unlimited. lol

Well it would probably cost as much as the Avatars since it would also just be just CGI throughout.

Pretty surprised you haven't done Flow. Thought a "silent" and independently animated Oscar winner about animals bonding on a quest in a boat where the story is shown instead of told would be your kind of jam. Did it not appeal or just haven't gotten to it yet?

I don't know. Maybe it's just the snarling that bothers me. Not really the expression I think of for her. Kinda has the look of a monster.

Now she's covered in spikes and horns and teeth and looks like a stereotypical evil dragon from Skyrim you'd shoot full of arrows. Completely contradictory to the original cover. If I knew some kids, I'd ask which one they'd want as a dragon because I don't think they'd want to touch this one.

The movie version is perhaps too gentle looking. Too equine, Sometimes when looking at the camera her head looked like a stretched human face. A bit uncanny. She could do with a bit more predator, but being approachable was what made her standout. She was the only friendly dragon at the time....

I'm not so much a fan of her newest renditions where she just looks like a typical blue dragon from any fantasy movie and I'm a bit frightened that Christopher might exert more control over the Disney series and push it that way too. Illustrated version was just kinda forgettable.

A lot of people... hate movie Saphira, but I think it's one of her best renditions. You immediately know it's Saphira. I prefer the concept art where they gave her head feathers too but that might have been a bit much for people especially with the hate she already gets, but her head feels plucked.

You start to see dragon movies really like actors from the Great Britain area. I think Raya was the first dragon movie where the English weren't the focus. Aren't a lot of American Dragon movies.

So I have one story that slowly descends into madness as you start with a chapter 1 that has been edited at least 50 times and work your way to chapter 35 that I don't even remember writing.

Nah, I get it. My problem has always been I enjoy editing chapter one than writing chapter two. Worse, I don't like to edit them out of order. So if I want to edit chapter 7, I'd want to read/edit 1-6 first unless I read them like yesterday. Then I can force myself to skip them.

dragon art by him. The sequel came out the same year he died so I'm not sure if he created its cover too despite the dragon having a similar design and the same detailed clothing.
