My dad, age 10, was there! We got him a Mitchell & Ness throwback Tommy McDonald jersey for his birthday one year. Long sleeves, no name on back.

it was this one and the four questions in the Ultimate Trivia Challenge round were not asked/filmed in that order on set, but it made it look like I salvaged a tie at the end and moved on to the final question - fikklefame.com/master-minds...

even game shows, which are pretty well-regulated for fixing, do this to some degree - I was on a trivia show that reordered the questions when it aired to build suspense (although the eventual outcome and answers didn't change)

I have ears and a brain, I can hear how Jonathan Greenblatt speaks about Zohran Mamdani and how Mamdani speaks about Jews, and I can see one is using thinly veiled malice and it ain’t the next NYC mayor bsky.app/profile/jare...
They’re going to have to rename it the “Defamation League” at some point. Absolutely disgusting stuff from ADL’s CEO yesterday on MSNBC that I would put in the category of “barely veiled Islamophobia.” He’s got nothing so he just does these nasty insinuations

I got you - whole thread on what a disappointment the ADL has been under Greenblatt here:
I got involved with the ADL in 2017 when synagogues were receiving dozens of bomb threats and a swastika was drawn in front of a Jewish neighbor’s home. I graduated from their Glass Leadership Institute the following year and traveled to DC to lobby Congress with them. 1/4

It’s really a remarkable contrast to the Washington Posts and LA Timeses etc. - the Inquirer was bought by a billionaire who turned around and donated the paper to a nonprofit which he then endowed, for the purpose of sustaining journalism
