I ordered a few clothing items Thursday night after Thanksgiving dinner. I just checked the tracking and noticed that I ordered everything a size larger than I normally wear. I guess I made my selections based on ✨vibes✨ rather than data.

I solved Letterboxed in 2 words but now I’m annoyed that I can’t recall the nerdy slang term for that niche accomplishment. There’s a NYT article that mentions the term and associated bird site hashtag, but I can’t find it. Anyone know what it is?

It’s so frustrating when incredible talent is just…mismanaged. Why doesn’t Ryan Day trust the pass game? If he had come into today with a less conservative approach - ‘let’s put on a show’ rather than ‘let’s grind it out’, I think they could have had a different outcome.

I know people love to say that kids grow up “so fast”, but when I see my friend’s social media posts about their kid’s birthdays I’m always shocked to see the ages.
Little Bobby is only 9?? I could have sworn my friend had him ~20 years ago… That means they’ve got another 9 YEARS till empty nest? 😳

I went to a networking event today. I talked to a friend beforehand and joked that I should brush up on my Roman history and dinosaur facts since it was gonna be mostly men in attendance.
To my amazement the first person I talked to BROUGHT UP DINOSAURS.😄 (a tech guy, not a palaeontologist)

OMG SCHOLASTIC STRIKE
I expected to have to learn the metric system when I moved to Canada. What I was not prepared for was the weird mix of metric and imperial.
Deli meat is in grams but humans are in pounds.
Thermostats are Celsius but ovens are Fahrenheit.
Distance is kilometres but height is feet.
Why????
