Dear @democrats.org

Idea.

How about canvassing people from all walks of life and political positions, ask them what's really important in their lives.

Then get some smart people like @rbreich.bsky.social or @sanders.senate.gov to look at it and find a set of compatible goals...

Dear @microsoft.com

Maybe instead of badgering, forcing or trying to bribe us into using your products...

Make products WE want, rather than products you think we want or want us to want - and make them good by OUR standards, not yours.

Then we'll just buy them.

Dear @djiglobal.bsky.social

Make a USB-C O4 digital transceiver for cell phones that uses the Fly app, rather than making us use a controller. Or just make it possible to plug the existing one into a phone.

Then the Neo/Flip line will be truly portable AND powerful.

A Government of cowards.

Rather than tackle inequality - they've gone for pensioners, disabled people and now it's people fleeing war and persecution.

They can't get away with this.

One of the most frustrating things about drone enthusiasts on YouTube (and this isn't a criticism, more just frustration on my part), that they're all about taking picture of themselves running or climbing or doing some kind of sport.

So that's the focus of all the feature analysis.

Ok.. First Microsoft and now Google.

Basic rule of UI design: A change that adds more clicks to do something is a sign you're designing it wrong.

If something used to take one click and now it takes three - you failed.

Sub-rule: Popups are evil. Avoid if possible.

But it needs 3 things:

1. Optional bigger battery (you have 75g more space)

3. A better way to connect the O4 dongle without using screws

After yesterday’s surrender, we’re launching the largest Democratic primary program that we’ve ever run.

We will not back any Senate primary candidate unless they call for Schumer to step down as Minority Leader.

If you’re as pissed as we are, join this campaign to rebuild the Democratic Party. 👇
Democratic leaders have failed us again. It's time to get new leaders.
After yet another capitulation by Chuck Schumer and Senate Democrats, it's clear we need new leadership capable of mounting a serious opposition to Trump's authoritarian regime. We're launching our la...

The question really shouldn't be "Who's cheating and living a life of luxury on their SNAP and ACA benefits?", rather it should be "HOW can anyone be living a life on their SNAP and ACA benefits - maybe they should get more?"
The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Next prediction:

SCOTUS is going to find that since as President, Trump has the power to declare emergencies (there is precedent for this) and since IEEPA explicitly allows him to levy tariffs against threats to the economy, that his tariffs are legal.

They may duration limits on it, though.

I have a few things to point out about yesterday's US elections..

But to be honest, let's enjoy the moment for a bit.

That "Hard IQ" test Trump is so proud of passing?

I'm a participant in the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging (CLSA) and have been for about 15 years. It's long term study on how aging affects people.

Every three years, I get one of those tests.

It's not an IQ test.
