Went walking through a part of town I’d never gone through before today and spotted these two places literally right across the street from each other. More than a little ghoulish if you ask me. Can’t be a coincidence.
A sign for a senior assisted living home. And across the street, a sign for a funeral home that also offers cremations. A looming structure of doom, awaiting the residents across the street like the Grim Reaper, greeting grandma and grandpa with a sadistic smile every morning when they look out their windows.

I mean, sure. Current studio execs are running Hollywood into the ground with their decisions these days. But at least they're not as straight up evil as they used to be, like when a producer introduced Siberian Husky DNA to test tube babies to create the Bloom brothers.

Just watched CURTAINS for the first time (didn't care for it). Was the sleazy, pompous director played by John Vernon supposed to be based on Brian De Palma? Because they certainly went out of their way to make him look similar.
