Fox news and the owners of it should be shunned from the views of the American people until it is required to blatantly advertise that they are NOT NEWS but entertainment television and that nothing they say should be taken as factual. Same as they say in court.

I'd argue that a much greater percentage than 37 are lacking appropriate education. It's just that for the remaining percentage, they are finally feeling the leopards eat their face and disapproving of it because it affects them directly. If they weren't feeling it, they wouldn't disapprove.

Nor do Republicans. I'll take the party that "doesn't stand for anything" but tends to vote yes on bills that will help me than the party that votes no on bills that will help me.

Thanks, I'll have to look there. I try to avoid walmart in general so I hadn't checked there.

This is peak meme material and I shall be taking it

I'm offended that you think I'd ever get sick of you talking about anything that would make my life more cost effective and easier.

completely unrelated, love your pfp. The metroid games are great!

I don't think I have one of those here. Previously I was buying the 93 count of cascade for 17.19 (works out to 18.4 cents/load) from costco and I was having trouble finding a better price in powder. at 2 loads per ounce (a tablespoon per load), a 60 oz box @ $22 (amazon price) comes to 18.3/load.

Jokes aside, the visual improvement of videogames over the years is astounding. 20 years ago, the best you got was this:

I feel like someone who has "make america go away" as their pfp doesn't have a right to speak on our politics.

I bought some powder from cascade in bulk literally the evening before TC released the latest video. I had to buy in bulk to make it cheaper per load than buying the pods from costco. Are you finding a way to get the powder at a decent price without having to buy 7 boxes or more?

The game itself is great, the mechanics are a little dated but still hold up mostly. The graphical overhaul was really great! I'm looking forward to the next Elder Scrolls game, hopefully I'll live to see it.

It is not unusual for people with vegan preferences (especially those who practice veganism for what they consider to be 'moral' reasons) to go online and insult or attack people who mention that they eat meat. First time seeing this poster but sounds like he's experienced this trope first hand.

Asking for a link to an article to read it in full and validate the claims is pretty much the exact opposite of one having their mind made up. You're very obviously emotional about this and I don't think I need to have a conversation with someone who just wants to fight.

Thanks for the suggestions, I'll check them out! More knowledge never hurts!

The article appears to overstate the 'crisis'. Yes, energy use is growing, but efficiency gains and renewables offset much of it. Claims like “ten trillion trillion operations” or “running out of text” are flashy metaphors, not facts. Good story, weak science. A lot of these figures have no sources.

Thank you! I just found the article by scrolling through your previous posts (I didn't have any other way to find this). I'll read the article and respond with my considerations of it.

If this person is actually pro-science, they will appreciate others wanting to validate the evidence provided
November 3, 2025 at 4:10 PM
You know, it used to be that people respected someone wanting to have the full context of something to make an educated decision. It is only recently that the moronic idea of just "going along with the bandwagon" and not considering evidence has become popularized. It's sad to see.

could you please link to the full article so we can evaluate it in full and speak to the entirety of the document in the context that it is written?

If we had superheros IRL, I'm pretty sure we'd make cartoons and shows portraying them as well. Look at how the "heroes" in 'The Boys' have movies, advertising contracts, etc.

@bambulabglobal.bsky.social This is pretty unacceptable that you have a customer with a ticket open for what sounds like clearly malfunctioning hardware for over a month. By now, you should have shipped a replacement unit with a return shipping label.

Not if we do it right this time. Our first mistake was letting the losers of the civil war continue to live in America. They should have been exiled to an island nation to fend for themselves. If that had been done, we wouldn't be in this mess today.

I'd argue it was dead long before that, it's just that the corpse has been decomposing and just this year began to stink enough for most people to notice. Remember, W. Bush wasn't fairly elected because of the "hanging chads" incident. Trump was elected despite heavy statistical anomalies in votes.
