I'm not saying that they would win against a whole army but standing up to the authorities causing damage as a group when you outnumber them is definitely going to scare the shit out of them and if people do it, they'll stop because they don't want to fight people who will fight back.

This is exactly the problem. We've done peaceful, it only works when the people in power care what the people think or if there is a threat of violence. The people in power don't care what we think and they know people like dear @sfor4th.bsky.social here won't ever use violence and will die instead

Welcome to every law enforcement issue in the US in the last 100 years. We barely train our law enforcement, don't require them to know the law, and they are often trained to escalate and view every non-officer as a gun carrying person with plans to shoot them. They just protect the rich now.

As someone that grew up with Minecraft literally playing the first version that wasn't even in a client but was just a demo on their website, I do miss when the game wasn't as complex. I remember people being disincentivized from play because of the survival mechanics implementation.

Good luck living in the world. I remember when "that looks photoshopped" or just "shopped" was the buzz phrase like todays "ai slop" phrases. In 10+ years, we'll look back on people complaining about AI videos and images and laugh like we do at the people complaining about photoshop.

The congress never didn't have the power, Trump did the actions illegally and the military members who performed the actions should be shamed and exiled from our communities for breaking their oath to uphold the constitution. Until I see congress jail or hang the Rs who did this, it doesn't matter.
