I tend to dabble into the numbers side of the game too much for my own good. Orlando, Manchester City (hints the user name), and overconsuming Central and South American football/futbol.
If you an image was ever needed to explain CONCACAF to folks; this might be it. The VAR Room for Trinidad and Tobago vs Curacao.

Half mark of the season. 5 results flipped to plus points (13) and 4 results flipped to negative points (-10). A net gain of 3 points compared to the last season.

Wanchope is up late and looking at things

Wednesday night be only the 3rd time this season that Orlando will playing against a side that had won their previous match. Since Chicago does not play midweek; OC will have only had a face team coming off a win 3 times in 1st half of season.

Well that will go down as one of dumber ways that I have seen a team give away a match.

That ego has always been fragile.
David Beckham is not mad. Please don’t put it in the newspaper that he is mad.

Sunday Quiz. Name the last time that an Orlando City striker (Muriel, Enrique, and McGuire) scored a goal from open play (non PK, FK, or directly from a corner).

What an absolutely stupid fun match.

.73 points per match. That is the combined total for all 4 of the teams that Orlando has beaten this season. The "best" team that Orlando has beaten this season is a DC team with 12 points from 12 matches.

But Yay! Contract Extensions for everyone.

Entertaining with no skin in the game but FFS it is they all forgot how to do the simple things.

I’ve been meaning to make this public and it’s finally in a “good enough to post” state: advanced analytics dashboards for MLS and NWSL. These are posted in Tableau and will get regular updates. Glossary and explanations coming soon.

The pictures here are just a preview but there’s a ton of depth:

El Clasico Chapin tonight at 7. Municipal clinches to the 1 seed with a win. Comunicaciones keeps pace for a 2 seed with a win.

Here is Orlando City's record against the rest of the east since the schedule normalized (home and away) in 2022.

Looking at numbers through 7 matches; it is slightly peaked my interest that Alex Freeman is basically a copy and paste of '24 DDT.

A bit for the whole crowd. 3 points better through 7 matches. But 1 point worst in the same/similar matches to last season.

I will 1000% have a meltdown if that plastic club manages to sign that particular player.

That was THE chance. Got to find the back of the net in your front 3 v 2 situation on the road.

Love watching Orlando playing the F around system. Soon the find out will happen.

Not listed on the availability report published Friday when the team flew to Philly. A quick look at official social media posts from Thursday's training does not have either player appearing....

No reason to have an official report if it can be manipulated this easily.

Hours.....who are we kidding? Days will be lost on this.

"Quality of play" rankings? Great job creating a bunch of paint by numbers sides that have 0 personality and differences between them because coaches will be trying to top this stupid ranking.

At some point this team is going to learn to attack for more than 10-15 minute period each half.

3 shots. 7th, 19th, and 20th.

LA is really picking on that Santos/Angulo wing.
