Unless you’ve lived through managing a chronic health condition in this country, it is hard for most people to understand how it dominates every aspect of your life: time, energy, finances, and spirit. Juggling appts and billing is a full-time job, and it is all consuming with plenty of overtime.

My Kingdom and more for anyone to realize that awarding yourself a government contract is not a conflict of interest. It's corruption. When the bank teller takes the money out of the cash drawer and puts it in his pocket that's not a conflict of interest either.
