Asked if she was interested in Holly but the lady said no, because she owned her before but didn’t like all the work of keeping up a spirited puppy. The lady was the person who surrendered her!!!!!! Our local shelter posted that up on their adoption page and my wife had to have Holly /

Holly was surrendered to our local animal control, and was so friendly and sweet they brought her to a large adoption event at a local mall a few weeks later. A lady there sat down with her, played with her, and took photos of them together … and then walked away from her. A volunteer there /

Today’s Google Maps jersey search is Bangkok, Thailand. It took a good 5 minutes (so many big, empty highways!) to locate this 2012 Arsenal FC home jersey, taken in November 2024. More Arsenal abroad fans out there than perhaps one would think? #jerseyaday #football #arsenal

Today’s Google Maps jersey search is Bangkok, Thailand. It took a good 5 minutes (so many big, empty highways!) to locate this 2012 Arsenal FC home jersey, taken in November 2024. More Arsenal abroad fans out there than perhaps one would think? #jerseyaday #football #arsenal

Right down the street from our Al Hilal fan is the Gunners Pub & Restaurant, which proudly features an Arsenal crest and players, and … an AS Monaco crest? Not a connection I foresaw.

Today’s Google Maps football jersey search is Johannesburg, South Africa, and took a good 10 minutes to find this very clean-looking 2018 Al Hilal home jersey at 79 De Villiers St from 12/2023. A Saudi league jersey in South Africa? Definitely not on my Jersey bingo card! #jerseyaday #football

Last one: you don’t see nearly as many women wearing jerseys as men - probably 1 woman for every 25 men- so here is a woman wearing a 2002 Senegal National Team jersey! Beautiful kit (and one I own!). Still in Dakar, April 2023. #jerseyaday #senegal

A brief trip around the corner (bypassing at least one Barca jersey - they are EVERYWHERE) is this replica of a 2018 Chelsea FC Eden Hazard jersey. So worn it is now purple in parts! From July 2021. Senegal is a gold (goal?) mine of people wearing football jerseys. #jerseyaday
