A couple of hours of progress on Cthulhu. Slow going, but I'm enjoying this. Not working to a planned design. I guess this is a sort of weird sampler. =D

Work in progress. Vaguely Cthulhu: freehand embroidery with cotton floss on a linen background. Mostly very tight couching stitches and split stitches.

Work done. Hand-sewn holder for chef knife. Interior denim; exterior hand embroidered jacquard; linen ties. It took a while, but I'm chuffed with how well it turned out.
