The Sobering Center is a jail-and-hospital deferment program. If someone gets picked up for public intoxication, they can choose the Center instead of jail. No hoops, no moralizing, no paperwork marathon. Just a bed, some crackers. A place to sober up. That’s it. /2

I don't like marshmallows so I avoided this side dish for years. So one Thanksgiving I tried it to be polite, and realized it was delicious. Definitely a once a year special treat.
