Going to my second pride event ever, the first was when I first came out as trans, summer 2016. My partner's work had a thing in the parade a town near by us is having, so we're gonna be in that :)

The #handsoff rally I went to had so many people there old enough to be my parents, and all I could think was how it'd be more likely for my parents to be one of the cars who flipped us off than one of the people standing on the side of the street with us. And that kills me.
