Absolutely nails it.
ICYMI: The gov & Coalition are on the cusp of passing legislation that will give the major parties 10s of millions of dollars more in funding - from the taxpayer.
Annabel Crabb nails it: “We’re asking the public, in a cost of living crisis, to fund a narrowing of their choices.”

Americans didn’t want another old president so they elected a 78-year-old.

Americans wanted to end crime so they elected a criminal.

Keep it going lol

"sneaky, excessive and unjustified" says #AnneTwomey one of australia's leading constitutional legal experts.

don't be fooled by the veneer of integrity messaging, this bill is aimed at halting australian voters' shift away from the two party system.
See you in court Senator Farrell!

Excellent analysis from constitutional law professor Anne Twomey of the Labor/Coalition duopoly's shamelessly self-interested and constitutionally questionable rigging of our electoral donation and funding law. #auspol
Sneaky, excessive and unjustified: why Labor’s electoral reforms are vulnerable to constitutional challenge | Anne Twomey
A political donor will be able to donate up to $640,000 in a year. How is this taking the money out of politics?

Some positivity was much needed. Booked to see Tommy Emmanuel up close in May.

Experiencing TE in the flesh is something incredible! I have followed the man for over 20 years, and I still feel the same excitement each time.

An outstanding performer.

A gentle reminder that if we miss the 1.5°C target (and we certainly will), the next target is 1.51°C and not 2°C. We need to keep fighting.

Every tonne of CO₂ emitted makes the job of future CO₂ removal harder, and every 0.01°C of temperature increase makes the world more chaotic and dangerous.

I firmly believe we also need to unite & support all our Independent Journalists together in a similar way Climate200 is doing with politicians
The Far Right are winning the Media war, with Elon buying Twitter as a key part. My fear is we will be overwhelmed with US media next election.

Meeting Robert Godin was a dream come true. I have played his guitars for decades. Fascination from when I was a teenager, working some Saturdays in an acoustic guitars shop in Pigalle. Thank you Robert for creating some of the best instruments for musicians.

I make French cheeses, from Australian milk. Life is weird. This stage of maturation is my favourite, when the “brainy” waves of the Geotrichum are well established, just before the Penicillium flattens it with its white fuzziness. Soon it will be wrapped-up and the rind will then look like paper.

Never forget. This was while my grand-parents were young adults and both my parents were born. Don’t let the black & white photos fool you. This happened and will happen again if we do not learn from the past. The author is Raoul Minot, who took photos for the Resistance and died in a camp.

I will be using this space to share my music. As a live performer, I struggle with recording. The ability to edit, correct, or overdub tracks is the complete opposite of what I do. It is challenging to the spontaneous nature of a live take and it is too tempting to perfect everything. This is new.

The lovely Kristen’s Saville drew this while we played a gig in our favourite spot in St Kilda. I love her style and her passion in supporting the live music scene through her Art.

For a first post, I saw fitting to share this pic I took a few months ago. In dire times, we must remember that Light can overcome Darkness.
