I'm scared that Isbell/Hobson is going to be an unplayable third pair. Very shaky, and Carla didn't manage the rotations well, even if the Fillier and Kaltunkova lines didn't get on the scoresheet.

Having to go get foreign investment for the men's soccer team, still being primarily league owned for the women's soccer team with other minimal foreign investment taking place, and this team won't have the benefit of a new arena with real estate upside on the land like the Sens sale did.

I'm not worried about the PWHL as it stands staying in the city. Once they move to a franchise model and start soliciting bids for teams, then I'm concerned, because I have no faith anyone will want to buy the franchise and keep it here (including Andlauer).

I also want to really agree on your development pathway point. Hopefully the inherent bias towards the REX programs will begin to diminish given the opportunities for youth to train in a variety of professional environments, even if if will take a couple generations to fully establish.

Agreed on all fronts, especially because it's so hard to have the nuance necessary about the reputation of the league and how that should impact the XNT selection process. But you're especially right that it really isn't a big deal when you're talking about the 22nd-24th roster spot.

A reminder that Pridham has scored more goals this season than Huitema has in her entire time with the Reign.
Now, as a Rapid fan, I'm not too upset that our star striker is going to be fully rested for the playoffs. But just be honest that you're not willing to put a 28-y/o into camp over a kid.
