Never a good time to destroy tents, but a Friday?! And sneaky, why not be clear so advocates and observers can mobilise. Too chicken sh*t to face community fight back
🚨 Camden Council & cops currently destroying people's tents on Warren Street!

When will they learn this will never resolve #homelessness but cause even more problems!

Displacing people on a Friday is even more dangerous

🗞 "We need a stepchange in how we deal with homelessness."

Our codirector Jess Turtle wrote the New Years opinion piece for The Big Issue saying what is needed from politicians in 2026:

What is needed to fix homelessness in 2026?
Efforts to tackle homelessness in 2026 will see the Vagrancy Act finally scrapped. But politicians must make it more than a symbolic gesture.

This 👇🏻The shear inhumanity of deactivating SWEP as the snow fell across London is unfathomable. Credit to the Councils who have extended, hopefully they'll vocalise their concerns and reasonings to govt . If they can extend, they all can. And should.

#London removing its severe weather plan is branded ‘life-threatening’

We spoke to the Metro, highlighting our concerns.

‘Humanitarianism is the starting point, but only legislation will guarantee safety for all.’

Military sites are unfit to house people fleeing war & persecution.

Falsely sold as 'cost-cutting', these plans come at huge financial & human cost.

More important now than ever to show solidarity in all the ways- if you got a bit of cash this is a great place to spend it. Don't got cash? Follow, share and spread the message 💜💜💜
Feeling Pretty Horrific About Things. The best way to reduce this is to keep me in a constant supply of choc OR donate to @praxisprojects.bsky.social so that we can continue to get our clients out of destitution, off the streets and permanently settled in the UK. They belong, the far-right don't.

26 Police Officers were injured at today's riots but only 9 people were arrested.

Compare that with the peaceful Palestine Action protest where 0 Police Officers were injured but nearly 900 people were arrested.

The Government has got Law Enforcement ridiculously wrong.

Proud to stand with our friends at @praxisprojects.bsky.social @rfuk.bsky.social & @migrantvoice.bsky.social in calling out this govt's foolish & cruel plans to shove more people on the 10 year route to settlement.
These routes need capping not expanding.

When people such as Rylan did this morning say 'our homeless' they are using the suffering of people who are homeless for their own gain.

Its out of order.
