It's a great time to get current on immunizations.
The TDAP - tetanus, diptheria and pertussis (whooping cough) is due every 10 years. The HPV series is recommended up to age 45. Various others might be appropriate for you based on health & lifestyle. CVS and health depts often offer these + more.

I truly can’t argue that. I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in Congress, the judiciary in general & Supreme Court in particular, & DOJ leadership failing to act as checks on White House corruption. Our checks & balances have been under sustained attack, and are failing. Public needs to get LOUD

New — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) was told this week by DOJ that they'd lose their funding if the org didn't remove any mentions of LGBTQIA+ issues from their public materials, I've learned. Staff were told they need to deadname trans kids in their reports to comply.

If an action is not intended to block, shut down, or stop some form of power in a real sense, it is useless or worse. Boycotts, work stoppages, blocking buildings, MA groups, etc need to be the floor for effective action at this point. Clever signs will not cut it.
Protests and marches are great. But this will take withdrawal of labour and forcible resistance. I'm not being self-righteous. I live in Britain, where we are - at best - passive in the face of our society being hollowed out from within. But true things are true.

I've never much had a sense of "faith" in anything and am really struggling to find comfort in refrains ringing out to keep the faith now. I need an alternative. Maybe, "people will always fight back, even if I'm not alive to see them win." I don't see joy ahead for me, I want to ensure it for them.
