[Thread of threads]

I'd forgotten I'd made threads as soon as I got here. It wasn't very practical, but I couldn't help myself. 😅

Until I have a system for grouping them on my profile, like on the other network, I'll gather them here. 🖖

Andor (2022-2025)

“They reshot it,” Joplin Sibtain (Brasso) added. “They did a lot with The Hound’s face, they had to superimpose my face on [him].”

Rory McCann (Game of Thrones, Baylan Skoll in Ahsola S2) was Brasso, originally! 🤯
Game of Thrones' Rory McCann Almost Played Another Star Wars Character
This Game of Thrones star almost played a pivotal role in Andor. However, a chance encounter forced him to drop out.

I've probably never read such a crazy article - except in The Onion. But in Newsweek. I can hardly believe what I read, it's so bizarre. 🥲
🧵Mark Epstein offered partial clarification on Bubba, Trump’s object of ...affection

"Mark Epstein told Newsweek the individual was not Clinton. He did not provide any additional details about the identity of “Bubba” or the meaning of the emails. "

Donald Trump ‘blowing Bubba’ message in Epstein emails under scrutiny
Mark Epstein asked Jeffrey Epstein in an email to ask Steve Bannon if Vladimir Putin has "the photos of Trump blowing Bubba."

"There is an extreme amount of AI artwork used within the base version of the game, despite the fact that last year’s Black Ops 6 made over $1 billion in its first 10 days on sale—the highest-grossing CoD game ever."

Too bad I don't play CoD, I can't boycott it 🤣

Another Trek movie project!
With the Paramount regime change, it could be serious this time... Or not 🖖

The good news?

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein (Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) will write and direct a movie that is said to be unconnected from anything previously done. 🙏

Subnautica (2018)

Pat Presley: "I was really drawn to Luigi Colani, a German industrial designer, for his high-end organic shapes. Those forms are gorgeous, and I thought they feel quite friendly and would be fitting for Subnautica."

I love discovering the inspirations behind sci-fi designs. 🤷‍♂️

Sonequa Martin-Green (ST Discovery) in Starfleet Academy (2026)?

"Let me tell you something—it would be so much fun. I’ll put it like that. And I will also say that [co-showrunner] Alex Kurtzman did it on purpose. He put SFA in the same timeline so that there would be the potential for crossovers."

Sorry, I made a mistake when copying and pasting.

Here is “You'll Never Walk Alone” by a choir made up of survivors and victims' families and Jesse Hughes from the band Eagles of Death Metal, who were playing at the Bataclan on that horrific night. So beautiful.

I'm currently battling with the AI of a parcel delivery service that insists I wasn't home on the two occasions when I was actually waiting at the window for them.

I hate this forced enshittification. 😂

Otherwise, let me choose the delivery company (so that I can reject them one after the other).
