100%. I feel like getting most corporations to do any requires an external force (government or unions) to apply pressure for them to do what is right and just. Otherwise, they'll do whatever is convenient for their profit margin.

This happened to me when I tried to back up my thesis using OneDrive and I almost lost my mind when I saw the original file had disappeared from where I saved it. Be careful folks..

Great read! I also read recently that ore quality for certain target minerals is decreasing. This means extracting these elements requires more energy (thus more emissions), generates more waste rock and yields less. All the more reason for lower consumption and better recycling.

The ultra wealthy think that their army of private security firms will probably keep them safe. Whether it does remains to be seen, but the bottom line is that events like this will probably have them doubling down on arming their life boat at the expense of the public.

Happy world soil day! Amazing Spodosol pic, they're definitely one of the more charismatic profiles. Random question but in Canada they're called Podzols and the formation of a Bh horizon is called "Podzolization" in some circles. Do you know if there's a USDA equivalent for that term?
