Much as I dig the newer Chaos Gate; Original is still an uncontested vibe; it just hits different, even now. Aesthetic, presentation, music; all have aged well imo.
The actual game itself... archaic by some peoples std's but classic XCOM has endured when so many others have faded for good reason.

End of the New DLC Season in #TheDivision2, Haven't played b/c the last 3 months have been much like the start of the year; /ROUGH/. Figured I'd crash thru the Pass & Seasonal content over the next few days.

I've played ALOT of Crystal ROMhacks this past year & I gotta say, they've mostly been great.

The mechanics & aesthetic of the older games holds up, esp with some more modern touches and QOL changes. I.E. no need for a HM slave.
I've had a lot of fun with stuff like Coral Version esp.

My new Womier 60% keyboard is officially kicking my ass.
Not only does it weigh, a lot more than i'd expected, but the smaller form factor has cut keys I didn't really think about that I use everyday.
This is going to take SOME adjustment. Esp the lack of a DEL key & the tiny ENTER key.

I know m'not doing great, b/c Stuff like this is always VERY tempting when m'feelin a special kinda down. A "Project".

Not really intended for INQ54, but would make a WILD one off HVT or "GM Break Glass" encounter. Also, I'd get to have fun w/a cool big robit.
