The utterly philistine "content goes here" must be one of the least inspiring phrases with which creative people are confronted.

So I will end with one last question. When corporate machines are more welcome in our pride parades than the community members that have been fighting with us from the beginning what does that say about pride?

Pride started as a riot. By trans women of color, leather men, drag queens, sex workers and every identity we still see today, even if we didn't have the words to identify with back then. If you're gatekeeping pride, you might be the one who shouldn't be there.
