Apparently the flu is everywhere right now. It hit both my kids. AJ is gonna get the full week off of school for it. Aric just got it today, so I hope it doesn't last a week for him.

I'm watching Some Random Bowl between Delaware and Louisiana (I don't know why either) and it made me wonder if those two schools have ever met in any sport ever.

I don't know if the Vikings are gonna win, and it doesn't really matter if they do, but I'm glad McCarthy is looking competent now. Obviously a work in progress, but he's back on the upswing.

I had so much fun watching the youngest in their first full-length roller derby bout this morning that I don't want to ruin the high by watching the Vikings now.

So I don't know if it's a colorblind thing or what, but I can't see the northern lights in person at all. Like, sometimes it looks vaguely like a thin cloud. But the pictures all look amazing.

Just picked up my son from his date. Probably the last time, since he turns 16 this week. She has the same name as my grandmother. I probably shouldn't tell her that though.

Ok, so what seems like half a lifetime ago I came up with a way to measure the "best" baseball games ever, since that's such a subjective term. I won't bore people with the methodology, but I still have all the data.
