Yep. At one point I was getting 30-50k monthly hits. Those days are well gone.

I’m just really proud of what I produce and the work I put into each piece (well, most of the pieces lol) and wished more people read them.

For me it’s just an ego hit, since I don’t use my site to make money. But it’s the livelihoods of so many others.

Remember, Google has no issue using our content to make their AI summaries, but doesn’t pay for that even though they know how much it hurts traffic.

I get that, but some things (basic human rights, for instance) are worth fighting for.

I definitely do politics…. but also other things that don’t make me want to pull my hair out. :)
