The question is where is the accountability? How can developers call it innovation when LLMs were trained unethically? How can they call it innovation when it required violations to basic laws? What happened to non-profit research purposes only?

Those corporations didn't even want to pay for the training data they stole or ask for consent while scraping all paid websites to train LLM! Now they are asking for a bailout? How about the hundreds of thousands of creatives they put out of work & forced them to compete against their own work?!

I don't want to judge but this is just a sad state of affairs. Hope she has a lot of toys cause she will be extremely bored and frustrated once the honeymoon is over.
