The U.S. has an extensive and bloody history of forcing regime change in Latin America, which is what makes this a continuation rather than an exception. But the lack of obfuscation involved is pretty stunning. They’re trying to equate this to acting on a warrant internal to the U.S.

This is what happens when you don’t aggressively kill, sometimes on a daily basis, the part of you that was indoctrinated to be impressed by and enamored with power and its many affirmations. So ridiculous.

If a leftist politician’s message has resonance, it’s because countless people (outside of elections and campaigns) have worked together to create a shared understanding of their conditions. Left politicians use these *already existing* conditions to attain office. They DO NOT create them!

I’m a stubborn cranky anarchist about every single elected official and always will be. I got shit for it when AOC first won office and time has only ever validated my position. Every politician is there to co-opt your power and energy: that’s their role in the system.
