In all seriousness, after beating Metroid Prime 4 I can confidently say that I loved my time with it despite its flaws. There is a fair amount of padding at the end, but when its good its really good.

The Santa Clause is such a messed up movie. I thought I was misremembering that the OG Santa Claus fell to his death. But no, Saint Nick just snaps his neck and no one cares. We don't learn anything about his past or the life he led.

Kirby Air Riders is phenomenal, its such a Sakurai game through and through. One underrated part of his games that I never hear talked about is how fun the unlock/achievement systems are. Literally no games released today offer something like it.

I just finished Hades 2, and while the scope of the plot trips over itself, I actually really enjoyed the ending. My biggest gripes have to do with the fact that game focuses so much on how the pettiness of this gods is hand waved away, to the point where I was low key rooting for Chronos.

Lately I've been thinking a lot about Super Mario 64. I have a certain fondness for it, like remembering an old friend.
That sounds silly to say about a video game but I can't express how much space that game takes up in my subconscious, wading through a dream.

My 20s have been exhausting so far, its like a weird mix of mourning my childhood self and loved ones while grappling with lots of change. I know this experience isn’t unique, but its hard to cross from "young man" to "man".

I downloaded the new Nintendo Store app and its quite impressive how far back my play activity goes! My most played Nintendo game of all time is Smash 3DS at 1000+ hours 🫣
This doesn’t even include the Wii U version at around 450 hours

I finished DK Banana last night, overall a fire game that I think would be worthy to call Odussy 2. If anything I think it’s the better game of the bunch.

Deniz Camp's The Ultimates run is incredible. Issue #9 is probably one of my favorites I've read in a long time.

I'm always frustrated when game dev tutorials implement a very specific solution to a problem.
Granted there will always be technical debt in any project, but instilling good practices in the way you structure/write your code will save you a lot of headache later on.
