You're right, they didn't mention any of the long term effects. I'm wondering, as it mutates, is it becoming less potent? The original strain was definitely more aggressive. The UK had a high vaccination rate, that could affect how it affects a population. A lot of questions?????

Last winter, there were more flu related deaths than Covid, but not when compared over the year. If I test positive like last July (think I got it from my boy), I just isolate. If we need a mask I will wear one.

1. During the pandemic and even after, I did not go anywhere that was not an open area without a mask. I would return to a mask if needed. In the UK you'll see maybe 1 in 200 wear a mask, but I think that may partly be due to the fact a high percentage were vaccinated.

May I suggest something - spend part of the year outside of the US, perhaps some time in Europe, Australia, Japan world's your oyster.
