“Hoosiers” is a good film. However, as a native Hoosier they always showed that movie in school when we had half days and I never need to see it again. Probably saw it at least 30 times #tcmparty

All 5 main roles were nominated for academy awards (Hackman and Pollard in the same category). Only Parsons walked away with a win. #TCMParty

I’ve always heard that this film was criticized for glorifying BandC and also showing the result of criminals and being too violent . I don’t know that a film can do both. It makes them into American myths but I don’t think it glorifies them. #TCMparty
