Currently halfway through my first run of Star Ocean: The Second Story R, a remake of the second entry from the PS1. This game is an absolutely incredible RPG. Everything from the presentation to the depth of customization is top notch. The story and characters have me hooked!

Finally got this beauty hung up to start the new year. Naoki Urasawa’s MONSTER is one of the greatest manga/anime of all time. Excited to have another incredible piece of art by Ethan Sharp alongside Perfect Blue. I’ll be looking at it while I’m writing✊

Ended my final day of 2023 playing Control and watching River Wild. A little levitating and a little rapid. Had a fantastic time. Looking forward to hitting the ground running in 2024. Let this one be OUR year. Happy New Year!✊

Super stoked to rewatch two incredible masterpiece Korean films. “The Man From Nowhere,” an action thriller about a man rescuing a girl. “The Wailing,” a horror film about mysterious killings in a small village. Owning them on 4K was a no brainer. Cannot recommend them enough.

The movie that made me want to be a writer. I saw this when it came out on DVD when I was 7. It scared the crap out of me. But I couldn’t get enough of it. The Mummy is my favorite film ever made. And one day, I hope I make something that impacts people the way this impacted me.

Godzilla Minus One. Easily one of the best theater experiences ever. There was a father there with all his kids. When the final reveal that ensures everything is okay happened, this man threw his arms up and screamed with joy, “YES!” Movies man. This is what it’s all about.

The worst part about being sick with a sinus infection. Not being able to go to the cinema to see the amazing movies that are out right now. It’s killing me.

Slamdance selected an AI made video into their 2024 programming. What’s worse, the “artist” is selling the segments that were used to make the video on the blockchain. I genuinely cannot comprehend how saddening this is. Honestly makes me glad we weren’t accepted to the festival. So disrespectful.
