I was just playing this last night on the Switch 2. Looking forward to the update.
This also gives me hope for a Pikmin 4 standalone update/patch, too. I still need to test out if the load times are better (I am assuming they are).

Alongside the surprise announcement of the Splatoon spin-off game Splatoon Raiders for the Nintendo Switch 2 has come the announcement that Splatoon 3 owners on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 have been waiting for. A new update will drop on 12th June enhancing the game for Nintendo Switch 2 with more detailed visuals and smoother frame rates and new weapons based on the Barazushi and Emberz brands.

I was just playing this last night on the Switch 2. Looking forward to the update.

I spent the afternoon finishing the Great Sky Island in TOTK, starting a new save file on Odyssey, clearing more cups on Mario Kart World, and even booting up Bayonetta 3, Splatoon 3, and my indie fave, Gris.
Everything looks and runs so well. My god, the load time in Bayonetta was nonexistent!

I played around in the Great Sky Island area of Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 Edition, and I am shocked at how great the graphical boost is, especially in the water! It’s so good!

Welp, my last minute pre-order cancellation at Walmart didn’t go through. So, now I have TWO Switch 2s. Looks like I am becoming a scalper! 😂

It's been about 2.5 hours since I started the transfer, and nearly all the games are on my Switch 2. It is well over 300 GB, filling up my 256GB SD Card and some of the system memory.
I'd say Nintendo's servers met the challenge of this hardware launch! Now to resist playing until after work.

I just went ahead and updated Breathe of the Wild, Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Odyssey, etc. One less thing to do when I get my hands on my Switch 2. BOTW and TOTK definitely took the longest to download.
Now if just my preorder would move off of "preparing." 😑
