We have a similar problem in our new local Aldi.
I know it's difficult see the bike racks * but they ARE there - just hidden behind all the trolleys!

Not just US retail. This is a new small mixed-use development in Surrey, UK.
Developers:
"We're supposed to include bike-parking in the scheme..."
"...OK, we'll stick them behind the over-spill bin storage. No-one will notice."
