Or foster dog is recovering from his dental surgery last Wednesday, but clearly still in discomfort and dopey from the anaesthetic (it can take a long time to fully flush from his body). He is eating, if only softened food, and taking pain his killers. Things are slowly getting back to normal. 🐕

He's had a lot of toothache for a while now, and it finally got to the point where we had to act. I hope, once he's got over the discomfort of the procedure and the anaesthetic, he'll be a lot more comfortable. 🤞

I fed the Christmas Cake this morning. It seems very moist, unlike last year's, so maybe I need to stop feeding it brandy. I don't want it soggy. But I have to admit that it smells good. Looking forward to cutting it over Christmas.
