Well, these guys decided to play silly sausages 😅
Had a little problem coupling them up, a little help from maintenance to get them to play nice.
Got a bit of education in case something like that ever happens again.
Always be open to learning more! You never ever know everything.

Last overnight shift of 9 tonight.
Had some snags with the 150s last night as they were playing silly sausages when trying to couple them up.
Bit of juggling the order of the 150s tonight and hopefully out to the shed nice and easy. Roll on 4am 😅

There's something I'd love to drive one day and it's this. Would love a go of the 57. Chances of getting trained on it though without shifting depot of practically zero. I can dream though.

Saw an article about the west of England line needing upgrading and the 159s needed replacing. They said about using electric islands. Areas where batteries can charge using 3rd rail. What you reckon?

My train took a wave to the face at 60mph going across Dawlish today. Quite an experience. Couldn't see a thing for a few seconds.
That moment you see it hit the sea wall and go skyward knowing you're about to go through it! Got a nice oh dear from me 😅

After I told the chap who answered I'm the driver of a train at Plymouth he answered I'm sorry bud, I can't help you. This is the West Midlands desk 😆
We had a good laugh about it.

While you lot are freezing, down here its 12 degrees and pouring rain. 😅 Got mullered by a wave leaving Penzance which was a fun way to start my trip, but the rest was uneventful. Stay warm everyone. Except those in Devon and Cornwall where its more stay dry 😆
