I have a neighbor cat that was climbing the side of my house at the corner chasing a squirrel. She put scratch marks all up and down our brand new siding. 😡

Not to mention that outdoor cats can cause behavioral issues in other people’s pets. My parents have a tortie in their neighborhood that taunts their cats through their back door and stresses them out daily. Fortunately, they haven’t started marking, but that is also a common response.
