Republicans are choosing a government shutdown over funding healthcare or housing, all to defend an agency that is literally killing its own people.

This is state sponsored violence. Impeach Kristi Noem. ICE out of Arizona.

Horrific videos from Minneapolis show ANOTHER murder by Trump’s authoritarian military force.

Let me be very clear: we must ABOLISH ICE.

Spreading conspiracy theories about the murder of Melissa Hortman is beyond the pale. By echoing Trump, Minnesota GOP Rep. Kristin Robbins has disqualified herself from holding office. She should end her campaign for governor—now.

ICE just killed a legal observer—allegedly blocking her from medical care and letting her die.

This is horrifying. ICE is a rogue agency incapable of reform. Minneapolis Mayor Frey is calling for ICE to vacate the city and I echo that call.

January 6 was a violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. It was meant to terrify and intimidate the people who work here—including my Chief, Sarah Ghermay. Instead of breaking her, it clarified her purpose.

I was there on January 6 — it was terrifying and we must never forget
I had escaped the 1998 Ethiopian-Eritrean war as a child. I did not anticipate experiencing such an attack on our democracy here in the U.S.

Rep. McClain Delaney said "she’d heard from constituents who encouraged her to support the bill." I personally called her office and told her NOT to vote for Laken Riley Act. She did anyway. I then emailed her pointing out my disappointment for her misguided vote.

McClain Delaney regrets voting ‘yes’ for Trump-backed Laken Riley Act
Rep. April McClain Delaney is disavowing her January vote in support of a law that requires federal law enforcement to detain undocumented immigrants accused — but not convicted — of certain crimes.

Donald Trump, a victim of political violence himself, just threatened to “hang” Democratic Members of Congress—all who served our country. Every single American, especially elected Republicans, must condemn this horrific incitement of violence immediately.

Trump’s @usdagov.bsky.social just told states to “undo” full SNAP benefits—and threatened to punish them if they keep feeding families.

They are intentionally starving Americans while Trump plays golf and throws lavish parties for billionaires.

It’s unconscionable. And we won’t let it stand.

It’s Day 35 of the Trump-Republican shutdown—the longest in U.S. history. Millions are losing food assistance. And now Trump is refusing to release $4.65B in SNAP funds even after the USDA agreed to. People deserve better than this reckless cruelty.

Alejandro Juárez lived in the United States for decades and worked at one of Trump's golf courses. He has a wife and kids here. ICE “accidentally” deported him to Mexico earlier this year.

Trump’s authoritarian regime is out of control—we’re not going to stop fighting back.

I’m horrified by the brutal killings & ethnic cleansing in Sudan. I’ve cosponsored @sarajacobs.house.gov's Stand Up For Sudan Act to ensure accountability for the UAE’s role in arming the RSF, which the U.S. determined is committing genocide.

Congress cannot be silent.

Video evidence shows that ICE instigated the interaction they’re trying to blame @replamonica.bsky.social for—but she was literally doing her job. Just add this to another action in the authoritarian playbook for the Trump Admin.

She won't back down, and I won't either. I stand with LaMonica.

Appreciate @captmarkkelly.bsky.social for saying it plainly. When healthcare premiums go up, families suffer. Republicans can’t spin, distract, or scapegoat their way out of that.
Mr. President, it’s not spin — it’s real life for millions of American families. If their health care premiums go up, they’re going to feel the pain and a lot of them won’t be able to afford it. Let’s sit down and fix this
