Today, over 20,000 bee species are buzzing for #WorldBeeDay 🐝

Bees & other pollinators keep 80% of crop and wild flowering plants alive.

Yet, 1 in 10 bee, hoverfly, and butterfly species are now at risk of extinction in the EU.

🥔 Homegrown Potatoes to Homemade Curry 🍛

I planted 8 seed potatoes and 4 months later harvested 20 decent ones. Now I’m testing 2 larger seed potatoes in the same space.

With my harvest I made a comforting chickpea & potato curry served over coconut rice—homegrown food always tastes better! 🌱✨

Simple neuroscience-based hack for anxiety:
🌿go & be in a place with plants & trees for 15 mins
🌳You'll inhale plant oils(phytoncides) from foliage
📉your stress hormone(cortisol) will drop significantly

Many of our brain pathways evolved to motivate us to forage for plants-they're still very active

I kept trying to figure out why the flowers on my butternut squash plants would only bloom in the morning and by the time I would go to take a picture when I got off of work they would already be closed up and shriveling!

Turns out, there’s actually a reason for this!
