Project 2025 was 100s of pages, piles of contributors, published years ago. He is carrying out exactly what was planned for the rich, by the rich, on racist, eugenic, supremacist ideas, by relying on exisiting permissions to do so. The media reporting daily surprise is a sham.

It’s difficult to think of something less efficient (and impossible) than replicating the capacity of FEMA in each state and territory. We are talking about just astronomical costs.

The dumbest timeline.
Governor Andy Beshear (D-Kentucky) on Kristi Noem's call to eliminate FEMA: "The states cannot do what FEMA does without duplicating certain tasks 50 times over. If you've got an operation that's running well, work with it, improve it, don't eliminate it."
