Is he going to get Jeffrey Archer-ed? I hope so. The talk of misconduct in public office is VERY hard to prove. Perjury is a bit easier and of course he lied. It’s what he does.

I can see 11 being blue for Metebelis 3 with the Doctor holding the crystal. I’d guess 21 with the background being the regeneration effect.

Managed to nail the “science is poetic” vibe more than Douglas Adam’s ever did. Love his (and it is certainly HIS) season so much.

To be fair he was coming off the back of trying to say bats aren’t worth anything and should die out because of HS2. He was having a hard afternoon of attempting to “both sides” everything.

At worst corrupt. At best lazy. Why bother reporting on the boring business of legislation when you can ask Farage for a spicy sound bite? See also scientific breakthroughs and economic matters. Essentially middle-men who neither understand the ideas above them or the public below them.

Can’t remember where I heard it, but someone said the idea that if the BBC pisses off both the left and right they must be balanced is wrong. Mostly because the left hate them for promoting Farage well above his station and the right hate them because they MIGHT cast a black Miss. Marple.
