Decko the Therapy Horse goes for conditioning rides a few times a week to stay healthy. When we let him set the pace, he has a great rhythmic gait and a curiosity that we refer to as “relaxed alert” 🤩

We prioritize the best interest of the therapy client and the equine by staying on top of PATH standards and engaging care teams for each horse (farm manager, trainer, farrier, vet, chiro, etc).

We always base every decision off of the treatment plan and a commitment to safety. A client wanting to work on changing perfectionism, for example, might benefit from a horse that requires flexibility and acceptance to most thrive.
