To me, the issue was that Obi Wan is pretty exceptional as a person. He could not teach Annakin because he wasn't aware of his own uniqueness and how maybe his padawan was different. He treated his student as he would have treated himself.

The Clone Wars did a real good job of underlining that Annakin was failed by Obi Wan, but he actually didn't fail Ahsoka. She took the good messages that he was working through to heart, but Annakin, without a robust enough support network couldn't reflect on what he should have learned through her.

My nephew has gotten into MK1 because a friend had it. The goal is to a) be okay at it by thanksgiving so that auntie lucy can show him what a BnB is.
b) get him into something *I* play like SF6 or Granblue. MAYBE I will try strive again.
