My dad passed away Saturday 24 May 2025. He was 82.
He served aboard the USS Hamner, married my mother, and had two girls. He was a mechanic most of his life, and could talk your ear off if you let him.

Finding out my father was talked into taking out a reverse mortgage has been the second most heartbreaking revelation of the week.
He lives in his childhood home, which sits on 5 lots and will be razed to build apts when he dies. I don't have $200k to save it. Four gens of memories just gone.
