I tried developing colour film today. The first roll didn't turn out at all. The second had a couple of passable images though. I have six or seven more rolls to develop tomorrow, so here's hoping. East side of the Albert Street underpass, shot with Phoenix II on a Fujica GS645.

I generally have beer once a year and the effects are kind of disastrous, but check out this bottle design.

Goodnight all. Hold on to your weird mistakes.

I’m trying a monobath developer for the first time. Fingers crossed!

I got the light meter on my camera working properly. The Rollei 35 takes an older and defunct battery to power its meter, so it needs an adapter to reduce the voltage.

I think this one is shot with Portra 160. Beach on Ryerson Park, Niagara on the Lake.

I shot two rolls of colour film in an old (70ish years) medium format camera, and to my immense relief, they all turned out. Most of them were portraits of my extended family, so I'm extremely grateful to the imaging gods. Here is my brother, who will hate it if you say he's handsome.

I spent some time yesterday walking around with my Rollei 35. Shot on Ilford FP4. I like shooting with really wide depth of field. #BelieveInFilm

Today, after much hemming and hawing, I finally bought a proper saucepan. My current pan is just slightly too small and I’ve put up with it for years. Well no more, I say.

The guy who complimented me didn't know I was taking photographs that looked like an oncoming apocalypse. I shot this on Rollei Retro 80S, a slow speed emulsion based on old aerial surveillance film. bsky.app/profile/thep...
