Trump is not “protecting” blue cities by sending in red state National Guard units. He’s openly threatening to send them Blue Cities. It weaponizes the National Guard loophole in the Posse Comitatus Act. He is hoping red state soldiers will be willing to kill blue state citizens. He wants a war.
