I was visiting family in Howth and was heading back downtown while wearing a new military-style jacket with a French collar, and was greeted with "Howareye Sgt. Pepper!" at least three times before I got off the DART.

It's a typical, and very annoying, ploy of clickbait sites to get you scrolling down so they can count eyeballs on their embedded ads. But I see it happening on more mainstream sites now, too, where salient information is buried.

Ok. I don't at all think he's good at business in the typical sense. Not at all. But I don't quite agree he's innumerate. These are two different things.

For him to say the issue of affordability is simply a hoax is a real watershed moment. It exposes not only his disdain for inconvenient facts, but for the very people who elected him. Even his base can't deny it. At least, not those who are cultish.

With respect, I think he very much does understand numbers insofar as it's benefiting him and those he wants to enrich. What he doesn't understand is neither the very highly-skilled act of good governance, nor the word "no." What we're starting to see is the country crumble, & he is losing control.
