Couldn't find a good version of the jazz standard Blue Skies to put on here to break my duck, so let's go with the thematically similar Early Summer by Ryo Fukui instead: www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWJQ...

The six stages of grief:
• Denial – "What's a matter you?"
• Anger – "Hey! Gota no respect."
• Bargaining – "What do you think you do?"
• Depression – "Why you looka so sad?"
• Acceptance – "It's not so bad, it's a nice place"
• Shuddup you face – "Ah, shuddup you face"

Excellent article here on the decline of the London darts scene. As secretary, then chairman of the Quiz League of London for over 10 years I'm acutely aware of the change in the use of pub rooms. Lost count of the amount of rooms we have lost to change of use to dining etc.
london was the birthplace of darts. but the capital arguably hasn't produced a great player in 20 years, and I wanted to find out why. it's a tale of gentrification and globalisation, new pathways and shifting demographics. but above all, it's a tale about pubs. www.theguardian.com/sport/2023/d...
