I can only laugh but my mom (70s) was forced into iOS 26 finally and the first complaint from her was the glass, lol

Of course the night I schedule some upgrades and Pantheon has git and workflow issues.

Oh boy, I am not a fan of iPadOS 26 and the windowed stuff. I already disliked the way the top pull down works and now it’s overloaded with a menu bar?

And this Vista look… it’s less in your face but I really feel like we went backwards here.

It’s finally happening! Still difficult to get people to switch. But glad to see this coming.
Until now, if you lost or broke your phone, your Signal message history was *gone,* a real challenge for everyone whose most important conversations happen in Signal. So, with careful design and development, we’re rolling out opt-in secure backups.

Is anyone using Openvibe on iOS find the scrolling to be slightly off? There’s like a micro second lag compared to using IceCubes or the official Bluesky app.

TIL: You can adjust iOS accessibility options on a per app basis. If you increase the contrast for Messages, the neon green bubbles becomes darker and it’s no longer harsh to read.

I needed CR2032 batteries. I looked on Target to check in store stock. I failed to notice the “when purchased online” (important: purchasing online for pickup counts). In store, I decided to just order from Amazon because I give up.

just that period reminder that content posted to Bluesky is public to *anybody*. if you don't want to see it used in a court of law, don't post it here.

and DMs here are not E2EE, they can be subpoened. a great use for bsky DMs is to share secure comms and move the conversation there.
